Call a Spade a Spade...sigh

In spite of the unintended and unwanted political slant of most of my posts, I can't allow this post to stand alone. Whereas I thought differently earlier, Father Flegler appears to be yet another ''caught up'' hanger on or, more sinister to consider, part of the larger pattern of folks who've influenced many, including Barack. I don't worry that Barack shares these views or would ever voice his opinion in the manner that Father Flegler chose, but c'mon, where are these guys coming from....and don' t they realize they are a target for media pundits intent on finding every flaw / gaffe to associate with their candidate?

People matter ... I miss Gia already (no, she's not dead...sheesh)

One of my favorite people on the planet, Gia Lyons, formerly at IBM, is now at Jive. I'd love to know how much traffic her departure has generated ''in the cloud.'' Simply put, she is one of the smartest and most lucid communicators about the benefits of Social Software on the planet. Moreover, she practices what she preaches. I take a little comfort in knowing I can reach her whenever I want, but still....sniff.
