Speak your truth, Father!
Part of the reason my parish 'moves' me so is due to my priest, Father John Adamski. He ''breaks open'' the gospels in a quiet, clear and eloquent manner Sunday after Sunday.
This priest, Father Mike Pflegler impresses me in this interview with his patience, clarity and eloquence in rebutting every leading comment / question from a reporter with an ''obvious'' bias / position. Obviously Father Mike has his own bias, but I'm struck by the reporter's unwillingness to 'accept' or acknowledge his own faulty premise(s) while attempting to deconstruct his subject's. Interesting, when I was in school for Mass Media Arts, I was taught that the foremost concern for a good reporter was ''objectivity''.
God bless Father John, God Bless Father Mike and God Bless all of the priests and laity who serve us all.
